Curry College is proud to announce that Chantale Scutt of Derry, NH has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Chantale was one of 65 students inducted during a ceremony on the Curry College campus on Sunday, April 9.

The founders chose the name from the Greek words storge, tharsos, and time, meaning love, courage, and honor. The mission of STTI is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Curry inductees are members of the Theta at Large chapter, which currently has 650 active members.

In order to qualify for Sigma Theta Tau at Curry College, traditional undergraduate students must be a Nursing major who has completed at least half of the nursing curriculum, is in the top 35 percent of their class and has a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Graduate level nursing students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to join the honor society.
