Curry College Inducts Megan Flaherty to Honor Society

2013 Nov 25

Curry College is proud to announce that Megan Flaherty of Medway was inducted to the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society during the fall semester.

The Society recognizes students' academic achievement as well as their leadership of, and commitment to, on-campus and off-campus activities and service. It is named for the famous inventor, Alexander Graham Bell, who became Curry's first chancellor in 1907, a position he held until his death in 1922. It was founded in 1971 to recognize and promote academic excellence through a variety of activities at Curry. Members serve as a resource for the Academic Deans and the faculty, and recommend ways the academic environment of the College can be enriched. Membership is limited to 5% of the junior class and 10% of the senior class who have a GPA of 3.5 or better and have completed at least 30 credits.
