Curry College Recognizes Students Involved in the Main Stage Production of "Noises Off"

2017 Nov 29

Curry College is pleased to announce that Watertown resident Nicholas Anastasi has been cast as Selsdon in Curry Theatre's production of "Noises Off." Nick, a Senior Communication major with a concentration in theatre and son of Cheryl and Peter Anastasi, is no stranger to the Curry stage. Nick has appeared as Giuliano in "Big Love," Larry in "Houston We Have a Problem," held roles in "The Laramie Project," and "Is He Dead?" and was the steward in "Into the Woods." Off stage, Nick, the publicity director for Curry Theatre, also served as stage manager for "Gorey Stories," and as costume manager and social media manager. During the summer, Nick was as a teaching artist at Wheelock Family Theatre, and previously worked for Reagle Music Theatre, and acted in the Boston One-Minute Play Festival through Boston Playwrights' Theatre.

"Noises Off," directed by Marcy Holbrook, is a hilarious performance about actors rehearsing a failure of the play "Nothing On."
