Curry College Student Involved in Production of "Into the Woods"

Ari Goldberg, son of Alison Butter and Eric Goldberg, has been cast as Rapunzel's Prince in Curry Theatre's production of Into the Woods. Ari, from Wayland, Massachusetts, is a Communication major with a Theatre concentration. Ari has previously been seen in Curry Theatre's productions of Is He Dead?, Guys and Dolls, and Woman in Mind. This year, Ari is serving as Improv Liaison and Assistant Production Manager on Curry Theatre’s Supervisory Board.

Enthralling audiences since its Broadway premier in 1987, Into the Woods intertwines the stories of the most beloved Grimm's fairytales and explores the consequences of getting exactly what you wish for. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, Into the Woods is sure to make you think twice before you utter "I wish." Into the Woods will run Thursday, December 11 through Saturday, December 13, at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Saturday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. The performances will be at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (select option 2).

Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts institution located on 131 acres in Milton, MA. Curry extends its educational programs to a continuing education branch campus in Plymouth, MA. Curry offers 20 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate degrees in business, education, criminal justice and nursing, with a combined enrollment of approximately 4,150 students.
