Curry College Theatre is proud to present the Fall 2019 Black Box Production of Red Scare on Sunset. Charles Busch's Red Scare on Sunset is a novel take on a serious subject: 1950s McCarthy era Hollywood. Film star Mary Dale finds the Red Menace invading her own Beverly Hills backyard, when she discovers that her husband has been lured into the local Communist party by way of a method acting class and that there is a left wing plot afoot to abolish the star system. Mary wages a private war to save her husband, her country and billing over the title. This Curry Theatre Black Box production runs Saturday, November 2 through Monday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton campus, which is located at 1071 Blue Hill Avenue. Curry College Theatre was proud to present the Fall 2018 Black Box Production of Eurydice in November 2018. Sarah Ruhl's "Eurydice" is a quirky, modern, and touchingly poignant retelling of the classical myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Eurydice's journey to the underworld has a surprising outcome when she is reunited and reacquainted with her father, while Orpheus is left to desperately reverse the events that have unfolded before him.
